MORE stores have opened for business at the Dockside Outlet Centre in Chatham Maritime.

They include footwear retailer Clarks, Room, Leading Labels and Thornton's. Clarks, at the front entrance, has taken a 10-year lease on a rent based on turnover.

Other stores on the way include Suits You / Young's Hire / Autonomy; Benetton; Sisley; Julian Graves; Sheridan Australia; Millies Cookies; Playlife and Bags Etc.

The £67m centre in a refurbished Victorian Grade 2 listed boiler shop opened on July 2 when 15,000 shoppers flocked through the doors.

A centre spokesman said retailers "continue to report a high level of sales."
