A £3.2 million expansion has more than doubled capacity for self-storage specialist Easistore. The move, given financial backing by Lloyds TSB Corporate, has created a four-storey self-storage centre in Tunbridge Wells.
Investment in the new centre followed the success of Easistore's first centre in nearby Edenbridge. The Edenbridge site was the first purpose-built centre in the UK to be based on the American model of self-contained storage units in a variety of sizes from as small as a locker upwards, for rental to both private and business customers.
The units provide a temporary home for items ranging from theatrical costumes and kitchen sinks to plastic dinosaurs and garden furniture as well as for a huge variety of goods belonging to commercial and business customers.
