Deal-making law firm Rix & Kay has hired a new corporate partner.
The Sevenoaks and Ashford-based business has enticed Tim Sadka from Rawlinson Butler, which merged with DMH Stallard on September 1 and has an office in Kings Hill.
He had led its corporate and commercial team for 17 years and been its managing partner from 2002 to 2010.
He joins a corporate team of 11 professionals which has completed a dozen deals worth more than £100 million in the last year.
Mr Sadka said: “I’m confident that my level of expertise and the quality I can bring to the table will help the firm to continue to grow, particularly in the Gatwick Diamond and London where Rix & Kay have traditionally been less active.”
Rix & Kay managing partner Richard Cripps said: “I think that our ability to attract someone of Tim’s quality and experience speaks for itself.
“We are hugely ambitious, we want to grow, but we will do so without compromising our client service value. Our appointment of Tim and his approach to client service is totally consistent with that.”
Rix & Kay also has offices in Uckfield, Brighton & Hove and Seaford.
