Financial firm ultimate finance has opened an office in Kent - with some new jobs expected to be created shortly.

Ultimate finance is a finance provider which operates offices in Bristol and Manchester.

The firm said there were plans to take on a few more staff within the year, although numbers had not been decided.

The new office in Calverley House, Calverley Road, Tunbridge Wells will be staffed initially by managing director Maria Dunne and regional director Tim Chaplin.

Ms Dunne said: "This is an exciting time for us. We have always had clients in the South East but actually having a dedicated team here means we can capitalise on what is the powerhouse of the country’s small to medium enterprise market."

The firm provides finance services to businesses in the UK, including factoring and invoice discounting.
