An international tax structuring expert has joined a Kent accountants as head of corporate tax.
Brian Mulholland will lead the growing tax advisory team at Kreston Reeves, based in Chatham, Canterbury and Sandwich.
His previous roles have included work providing cross-border tax management to entrepreneurial businesses and their shareholders.
He said: “I am delighted to be joining a forward thinking practice that is committed to working with entrepreneurs and their companies.
“I believe we will be able to offer a quality of tax advice and support commensurate with that normally seen from the very large accounting firms, but with a more personal and client friendly approach.”
Executive chairman Clive Stevens, who is also head of tax, said: “Having worked for big four and mid-tier accountancy firms in both the UK and overseas, Brian brings invaluable expertise to lead this aspect of our practice for growing business.
“We are seeing an increase in demand for tax advisory work not only from clients in the UK but also overseas.”
