Fashion chain New Look has chosen a Kent shopping centre for its first men’s store in the South East, creating 22 jobs.
Its latest 4,300 sq ft shop has launched at Bluewater, following expansions of Next, FatFace and Topshop at the mall in recent years.
H&M is also fitting out its new 40,000 sq ft store ahead of opening this autumn.
New Look Men in Bluewater is one of only a handful of the brand’s standalone menswear shops in the UK and is its largest to date.
Founded in 1969, New Look has grown from a single store to more than 800 across 21 countries.
Russell Loveland, portfolio director at Land Securities, co-owner and asset manager of Bluewater, said: “Menswear is a key product category and is the ideal addition to our retail offer, further increasing Bluewater’s appeal as a destination and providing a unique range of brands and experiences for guests.”
CBRE and Time Retail Partners acted for Bluewater. New Look dealt direct.
