GRAVESHAM Chamber of Commerce has moved to new offices that will help it grow and expand its education facilities.
Chief executive Graham Sawell said: "The move will enable us to further the services that the chamber offers and allow us to represent businesses better and with better technology."
Mr Sawell said many local businesses don't realise just what they would get out to becoming a member of the local chamber.
"The chamber of commerce is one of the few groups that gives its members a direct link to both local and central government," he said. "The chamber has access to many if not all of the government services."
The chamber is also part of the town management team and its networking events help local firms to get to know each other, which in turn is good for their businesses.
The Gravesham Business Community Awards are run by the chamber and dates will be announced soon. Nomination forms will be available from the Gravesend Messenger office and from the new chamber offices at 6 Berkley Crescent, Gravesend, DA12 2AH.
