Accountancy firm Crowe Clark Whitehill has promoted a new partner in its Kent operations.
Corporate tax specialist Simon Crookston, based in the firm’s Tunbridge Wells and Maidstone offices, becomes the business’ nineth partner in the county, and is among 73 nationally.
He joined the company in October 2012 after 15 years with KPMG.
Mr Crookston, 44, who lives in Charing, between Ashford and Maidstone, said: “This is an exciting time for the firm as we continue to grow and find ourselves better placed than ever to serve Kent’s businesses.
“I’m very pleased to be a part of that growth and am looking forward to the challenges ahead.”
Kent managing partner Keith Newman congratulated Mr Crookson, adding: “We are keen to ensure that our clients receive the highest quality pragmatic commercial advice as we continue to expand the tax and corporate advisory services we offer.”
Crowe Clark Whitehill’s chief executive David Mellor said: “This is an exciting time for the firm as we continue to grow, and Simon’s promotion positions us well to respond to clients’ needs.”
