Sofa firm Sofology is to open its first store in Maidstone later this month.
It will cut the ribbon on the new store at the South Aylesford Retail Park on Friday, December 18.
Spread over two floors, the store is the 46th nationwide and will create 12 jobs.
Store chiefs say "robust safety and hygiene measures" will be in place to ensure Covid regulations are adhered to.
A spokesman added: "As part of our ongoing commitment to carbon efficiency, the store will be powered by 100% renewable electricity and will be equipped with the latest digital retail technology to
reduce unnecessary waste, reducing the impact on the environment.
"Additionally the store will build on its continued partnership with the Woodland Trust, which sees Sofology plant a tree for every purchase."
The retailer will also a service to allow customers to recycle as much of their old sofa as possible.
Shaun Cook, head of retail, south, at Sofology, said: “We are always delighted to bring the brand to a new location and, as our second store opening of 2020, Maidstone is particularly exciting. We look forward to welcoming local customers as they explore our new store."
