A NEW voice for north Kent's business leaders will be launched in Chatham next week.

The North Kent Chamber of Commerce will bring together the existing Medway chamber, the old Swale chamber and the once-powerful Kent Thameside chamber that was based in Dartford.

More than 800 members will be represented by the chamber which will have its headquarters at Medway City Estate.

The organisation was formed after both Swale and Kent Thameside hit funding problems.
