SOUTH Kent college is celebrating National Construction Week by building two bungalows.
The nationwide campaign to encourage people of all ages to consider a career in the industry will be marked by hands-on taster days for pupils from local schools.
The Folkestone-based college's construction management, crafts and design division has invited contractors, architects, careers officers and teachers to a series of events from October 3 - 10.
Contractor H and H Celcon is supplying free building blocks, a donation that will enable two life-size bungalows to be erected on campus.
Students will be able to experience the construction of a dwelling and learn a new method of building known as thin joint technology.
