EKAA celebrates outstanding apprentices, employers and those who go above and beyond to champion these opportunities within our communities.
There are six apprenticeship categories to choose from this year including Health and Beauty, Business Administration, Hospitality and Retail and Construction and Engineering.
Creative and Digital and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) have been added to the award category list for 2020.
In addition, there are awards focused on businesses and organisations going the extra mile to support apprenticeships, including Private Sector Organisation of the Year and Public Sector Organisation of The Year.
The East Kent Apprenticeship Champion of the Year, meanwhile, will celebrate people who have acted as real ambassadors for apprenticeships, going above and beyond to promote them to a wider audience across East Kent or further afield.
To enter the awards, visit and complete the nomination form for one or more selected categories, explaining in no more than 250 words why your nominee deserves recognition.
Nominations are welcome from the Ashford, Folkestone and Hythe, Canterbury, Swale and Dover districts of Kent.
The deadline for nominations Friday, January 3.
The winners will be announced at a special gala dinner awards event taking place at The Yarrow Hotel in Broadstairs on Wednesday, February 5 next year.
The awards evening will coincide with events to mark National Apprenticeship Week.
