A new flexible office space has opened on the Medway City Estate.

BoxCity, on Culpeper Close, aims to provide small businesses looking for flexible and affordable work space in Medway an opportunity to set down roots.

It already has plans for more sites across the county.

Explains founder James Frost: "I know when I was starting out in business that I found it very difficult to find a place that I could afford to work from.

"Our units are a blank canvas for Kent entrepreneurs looking for their own space with rents starting from £500 per month.”

The new venue is managed by Dockside Property Services, which is co-hosting a launch and family fun day at the site on October 9 from 1pm.

Spencer Fortag, MD of Dockside added: “The BoxCity development is good news for Medway, good news for the environment as it uses redundant shipping container and good news for start-up’s and SMEs alike.”
