A company which has pioneered the concept of outdoor gym equipment in local parks, has appointed its first non-executive director.
Faversham family firm The Great Outdoor Gym Company, has more than 1,500 outdoor gyms in parks and parishes, as well as in London's Olympic Park and on Australia's Bondi beach.
Now the firm, founded in 2007, has appointed Adam Campbell as a non-exec.
He is a partner at strategic change consultancy Telos Partners and brings with him 15 years’ international consulting experience and a prior 15 years’ in the health and fitness sector.
Co-founders, Georgie and Matt Delaney said: “We are proud of our achievements over the last 12 years and have ambitious plans to activate more outdoor spaces around the world. We worked with Adam to develop our strategy for the business and felt that he shared our passion and had the experience and the network to help to support us with our goals. We’re excited to have him on board.”
Mr Campbell added: “It is a role I will perform alongside remaining a partner at Telos Partners. Matt and Georgie have built a fantastic brand, are driven to do good through outdoor physical activity and have ambitious plans to grow their business, globally. I’m excited about supporting them, their growth plans and being back involved in the physical activity sector.”
