A retailer specialising in second-hand designer handbags is to become the first independent at Ashford's McArthurGlen outlet centre.

Bond Street to Your Street brings "pre-loved luxury handbags" to its shelves and promises some of the "world's most famous fashion labels" at a fraction of their original price.

Among the brands will be the likes of Chanel, Prada, Louis Vuitton and Balenciaga.

It already has stores in Tenterden and Rye and will open its doors at the outlet centre this Saturday.

Emma Pinfold, the chain's owner, said: "More and more people are looking for quality unique luxury goods at an affordable price point. This store offers luxury fashion goods not only as a fashion statement but as an investment in quality. Handpicked and carefully curated, the store will be a handbag lover's paradise, stocking over 130 designer brands."

The store will be officially opened at 10am on December 4 by the Mayor of Ashford, Callum Knowles.
