The drink will be flowing at Biddenden Vineyard this weekend – but it won’t just be wine that’s on offer.
Beers, liqueurs, juices and cider will all be on the menu as the award-winning vineyard holds its annual food and drink festival.
Julian Barnes, managing director at Biddenden Vineyard, said: “The food festival has been growing year on year, attracting quite a crowd. It’s an excellent opportunity to taste and buy a fantastic range of produce made in the Garden of England.”
The shop will be open as usual for tastings of all Biddenden’s sparkling and still wines, ciders and juices. Ploughman’s lunches and refreshments will also be available for visitors, who can also take tours round the vines.
Around 40 small business are expected to set up shop for the day as part of the event that’s run in conjunction with Produced in Kent and raises money for Kent Air Ambulance.
Taste the Best of Produced in Kent at Biddenden Vineyard takes place on Sunday, June 14 from 11am until 4pm at the vineyard in Gribble Bridge Lane. Admission is free.
