A swimming pool firm has scooped four awards at a prestigious ceremony recognising the top talents in the industry.

Mermaid Swimming Pools, based in Sandhurst, near Tunbridge Wells, picked up the gongs at the British Pool & Hot Tub Awards.

The event is staged by Spata (Swimming Pool and Allied Trades Association) and Bishta (British and Irish Spa and Hut Tub Association), and took place at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.

And the Kent firm won a silver award in the Residential Outdoor Pools Under £50,000 category, two Bronze awards in the Residential Outdoor Pools Under £50,000 category and a Bronze award in the Residential Outdoor Pools £75,000 to Under £125,000 section.

Mark Russell of Mermaid Swimming Pools said: “We always strive to ensure our clients are thrilled with our work and to receive recognition from our industry peers is particularly gratifying. Therefore, we are pleased to be taking home four industry awards this year, and we would like to acknowledge the hard work of our experienced team throughout 2019 and their contribution to our awards success.”
