AWARD-WINNING Ridge Crest Cleaning has appointed DTW Vavasour to spearhead its public relations and marketing.
The cleaning company, based in Aylesford, has grown by 80 per cent since its launch in 2004 and is looking to targeted media relations and marketing campaigns to maintain its growth and attract new customers.
Managing director Ian Beach said: "Our company has very ambitious business targets and we recognise the key role of public relations and marketing expertise in helping us to achieve these.
"With their extensive experience of helping businesses like ours achieve significant growth, and with their ability to provide integrated PR, design and marketing expertise, DTW Vavasour was an obvious choice to help us drive forward our business."
Charlie Vavasour, managing director of Ashford-based DTW Vavasour, said: "We're delighted to be working with Ridge Crest and look forward to transferring our public sector and environmental campaigning expertise to this rapidly expanding area of business."
Last December, Ridge Crest won an Environment Award for Kent Business for Promoting Environmentally Sound Cleaning.
The firm services commercial, public sector, leisure and industrial premises, and its "green" cleaning contract with Maidstone council was a major factor in the firm’s triumph.
Under this contract, every bin liner is biodegradable and the council’s paper towels and toilet rolls manufactured from 100 per cent recycled and chlorine-free products. Ridge Crest aims to become carbon neutral by 2010.
