The Prince of India in Faversham has been crowned the Best Indian Restaurant in Kent at the Euro Asia Curry Awards held in Romford this month.
Owner and head chef Abdal Miah (Jack) was also awarded the Chef of the Year in Kent.
“I would like to thank all of my loyal customers who have supported me for so long in helping us to achieve these two great awards,” said Mr Miah. “I also want to say a big thank you to my dedicated team for all of their hard work in getting us to where we are today.”
Specialising in authentic Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine made using fresh and quality ingredients, the restaurant, which is located on Preston Street, offers a range of specials, including the Prince of India Seafood Safari, Chicken Tikka Jack’s Challenge and Bombay Flame.
The restaurant, which was launched in 2006 and taken over by Mr Miah in 2022, holds a banquet night on Monday to Thursday, excluding bank holidays, with any starter, main, side order, naan or rice for £16.95 per person.
The Prince of India is open from Monday to Saturday between 5pm and 11pm and on Sunday from 5pm to 10.30pm.
