AYLESHAM-based plastic manufacturer, Sharp Interpack is celebrating a record monthly turnover after notching up sales worth £3 million in May.

The company, which employs 250 people, is one of the UK's leading producers of plastic packaging and has invested £6 million in its plant in the last year.

Sales director Jeremy Sampson said: "We are supplying more and larger customers throughout the UK, as well as mainland Europe and we still have the capacity for further growth.

"Our sales and production teams have worked extremely hard and the resulting success shows the confidence that our customers now have in us."
