Thanet’s Reclamet wins national vehicle recycling award at ceremony organised by ATF Professional magazine

Kent's largest vehicle recycling business has won a top national award.

Reclamet, based on the outskirts of Birchington in Thanet, won the Vehicle Recycling (Medium-size) Company of the Year Award at a ceremony organised by ATF Professional Magazine, which specialises in the sector.

The awards event took place at the RAF Musuem in Cosford.

It won the award for its “professional and modern approach to salvaging and recycling vehicles” and its implementation of practices to reduce waste and emissions.

It also won praise for its charitable contributions to the local community - which included supporting a new boxing club in Ramsgate.

Stuart Mann, owner and managing director at Reclamet, said: "This is an incredibly proud moment to win this competitive category.

“In four years the we have built a great team which has become the ninth largest vehicle recycler in the UK.”
