LARKINGS, an independent accounting firm, is increasing the management team at its Canterbury offices with the appointment of Richard Kreffer as partner.

Richard has worked with Larkings in Canterbury as head of corporate services for 14 years. His appointment increases the number of partners at Canterbury to four.

Richard, who specialises in audit and accounting, already handles day-to-day affairs for a number of Larkings' clients, providing advice on business start-ups, taxation, acquisitions, mergers and disposals.

Managing partner of Larkings Canterbury, Michael Moore, said: "Richard's broad-based experience and specialist auditing skills will help us expand and develop the range of services we offer the small and medium sized businesses who make up the majority of our client base. "

Larkings has been established for 110 years. The company has offices in Canterbury, Ashford and Maidstone.
