A FORMER City of London stockbroker from Sevenoaks has taken charge of the southern region for Aegis Conservatory Roof Systems.

As newly appointed regional manager, Malcolm Ross will be raising the new company's consumer and trade profile for this summer's launch of Rooflock, a secure conservatory roofing system.

Malcolm traded in stocks, Euro bonds, gilts and derivatives for 13 years before leaving the City in 1989, setting up his own business and later moving into sales - latterly in the motor and conservatory industries.

He joins Aegis, operating from a custom-build production base on the North Wales coast, to develop a UK network of authorised dealers.
