The RTW Together Business Improvement District has crowned the 2022 Christmas advert for Royal Tunbridge Wells town centre, entitled 'A Very Royal Christmas'
Featuring a couple of (very) VIP visitors, the short film highlights some royal occurrences during a festive day out.
BID Director Sarah-Jane Adams said, “After the success of our festive short film last year, featuring Father Christmas collecting light bulbs from town centre businesses to highlight their contribution to the Christmas lights scheme, we wanted to continue the lighthearted approach to our adverts with a tongue in cheek visit from some ‘royals’.”
“Our ‘A Very Royal Christmas’ messaging for this season also features a free 56 page shopping gift guide, and press campaign – after all, as a royal town, who’s to say that the family wouldn’t pop down from Windsor to do a spot of shopping?
“We hope this advert brings a wry smile to the faces of residents and visitors alike, and that viewers will be inspired to like and share to really get the town talking.’
RTW Together has once again worked with town centre resident Simon Cossons to create another glossy video showcasing the businesses they represent.
Featured in the Christmas advert are Luxe Vida, The Opera House, Trinity Theatre, Fenwick, G. Collins and Sons, The Ivy, Lumiere, King Charles the Martyr Church, Hall’s Bookshop and Walsh Bros, who provided a sapphire ring (and numerous diamonds) similar to that worn by Kate Middleton and Princess Diana before her.
