A SITTINGBOURNE hairdresser celebrated 25 years in business this week. Clouds Hair Salon in The Parade, Northwood Drive, marked its anniversary by reducing its prices for the week and giving gifts to long standing customers.

One of the salon's original staff members, Regina Stone, from Sittingbourne, was presented with a bunch of flowers.

Owners Anita and Paul Stevens, who have also run a salon in Canterbury for 29 years, said they intend to carry on in the business a little longer.

Mrs Stevens said: "I hope the salon goes on for a few more years yet. It has had its ups and downs but now it is going better than ever."
