THE ferry company SeaFrance have cancelled all day trip bookings from Friday through to Monday because of severe weather warnings and the possibility of crew strikes.

They are refunding all monies or giving free transfers to other bookings.

In a statement to customers, the company said: "SeaFrance regrets to inform you that due to severe weather conditions and the possibility of industrial action, services may be subject to delays and cancellations from Friday, December 8, until Sunday December 10.

"All day trip bookings have been cancelled up to, and including, Sunday December 10."
