Ever fancied trying your hand at your own Grand Designs home? Then an exhibition next year could provide you with the building blocks you need.

Build It Live returns to the Kent Event Centre in Detling in February offering a host of experts to advise on building a home from scratch or extending or renovating your home.

Organised by self-build magazine Build It, the event offers free advice with consultants as well as the chance to hear from those who have already gone through the experience.

Nationwide, similiar events will be held in Oxfordshire and Exeter during 2025.

Build It Live in Kent will be the first of the year and runs at the Kent Show Ground on February 22-23.

Each show includes a zone dedicated to helping you find land across the UK.

Tickets cost £12 per person and are valid for either or both days.
