Most bosses think it is sacrilege to turn up for a meeting without an agenda.
However, that is what they will be doing at Canterbury Cathedral Lodge when they attend the first Kent UNconference.
Rather than talking about a specific subject, the event will give attendees the chance to pitch to speak for up to 15 minutes on the day about anything they choose.
Delegates will vote for the best pitches and pick speakers to offer insight and solutions to the business challenges.
The seminar on Thursday, November 19, has been organised as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week by tax and accountancy firm RIFT, based in Ashford.
RIFT Accounting managing director Jane Ollis said: “Come to the day prepared to contribute because if you are out there running a business, you have an important experience to share.
“You can either pitch to run a session or just join in the conversations. Either way you will be giving something, but taking away a lot more”.
