A FINANCE company is putting the drive into Lashings, the Kent-based squad of international cricketing all-stars.
Lombard’s office in Maidstone has provided a fleet of cars for the players to use this season.
Lashings, which is also based in Maidstone, has a busy fixture list with clubs, villages and schools across Kent and the South East.
One of its most recent fixtures was against West Malling to celebrate 300 years of cricket in the town.
The cars were handed over to the players by Robin Clayton, director of asset finance of the Lombard business centre in Maidstone.
Mr Clayton said: "We were delighted to be able to assist Lashings on this occasion and recognise the benefits of being associated with such a unique team.
"Lombard is a very team orientated business, focused on performance but able to have some fun at the same time, so this sponsorship fitted well against our local capabilities.
"We look forward to supporting the team during their summer tour and look forward to having their presence in Maidstone."
