A transport and commercial workshop in Queenborough has been sold.
C&D Logistics South East was first established on Sheppey in 1994 by founding managing director Chris Minnican.
It provides storage facilities for the commercial trade as well as retail caravan parking and storage.
Over the years it has grown and has now been taken over by Cumbria-based AW Jenkinson.
The group covers a range of industries from milling, wood processing to building, demolition and logistics. It already has a site in Swale for its transport division.
C&D Logistics was advised by the law firm Brachers, which has offices in Canterbury and Maidstone.
Corporate partner of the legal outfit, Matthew Simmonds, explained: "I'm so pleased they have achieved a successful sale of the business that they and their families have built during the last 20 years. I have worked closely with Chris for almost 10 years and on a personal level I am delighted for him. My congratulations also go to the team at a AW Jenkinson who I'm sure will be great custodians of the business going forward.”
