Wards has just hosted its first big fundraising day of 2024 to support the Tree of Hope, its charity partner of the year.

Each year, Wards agents get behind the chosen charity to raise vital funds. Over the years it’s raised more than £16 million in support of local and national charities such as the Children’s Trust, ellenors, Barnardo’s, Macmillian, Action Medical Research and many others.

More than 20 Wards branches took part in the February charity day. The event saw some great fancy dress with characters like Batman, Minnie Mouse and even a T-Rex, all encouraging passers-by to join in raffles, tombolas and colouring competitions.

Wards staff had a great day, mixing with their local communities and raising more than £5,000 for Tree of Hope at the same time.
