EMPLOYERS are being asked to contribute to a probe into the cost of poor staff performance.

Calibre HR and Training has already undertaken limited research into this controversial area and uncovered substantial evidence to show it is a real problem. Performance management and training appeared to be key issues.

Director Steve Walker said: "We want to get to the bottom of these findings to offer concrete and tangible solutions that will make a real difference to local employers."

Employers, line managers and HR professionals are being asked to complete a two-minute online survey at www.calibrehr.com.

The results will be published next month along with a fact sheet offering help and advice.
