ADT Fire and Security, based in Green Street Green Road, Dartford, has bought Swale Security Systems and now claims to offer the most comprehensive range of security services in the region. John Harris, General manager of ADT's Dartford operations said: "The office has expanded impressively over the last couple of years and our team has now grown to 250."

Swale Security, based in Sittingbourne, has developed a reputation as one of the leading providers of security solutions throughout the South East. Peter Hearn, its managing director, believes the move will benefit customers as well as employees. He said: "Over the past 12 years we have forged excellent relationships with our client base.
