MEDICHEM managing director Tom Allsworth and his staff are celebrating after clinching yet another celebrity contract.
The Queenborough-based firm has developed and produced the Dettori men’s grooming range, launched by jockey Frankie Dettori.
It is the latest celebrity brand to be developed by MediChem International.
Other high profile contracts include hair products for celebrity hair stylist Daniel Galvin Junior, Palmer-Cutler self-tanning and beauty products for former EastEnders star Patsy Palmer and her business partner Charlotte Cutler and hair and bodycare ranges for the Duchy Collection label, marketed by HRH The Prince of Wales to raise funds for The Prince of Wales Charitable Foundation.
Mr Allsworth said: "Winning the Dettori contract has confirmed our expertise in the fashionable world of hair and skincare products.
"All my employees are proud to be associated with quality brands, and we hope that Sheppey is equally proud that so many leading global products are produced on the Island."
It took MediChem, Frankie and his wife Catherine nine months to refine the mix of cedar, bergamot, musks, pimento, patchouli, vanilla and raspberry, which according to Frankie results in "a citrussy, fresh, sporty fragrance for all seasons".
Mr Allsworth has also become director and shareholder of Frankie’s new marketing company Dettori International.
MediChem will soon be recruiting extra staff.
