A YEAR and a day after the collapse of the New York twin towers, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors is staging a seminar on Terrorism and Security at Ashford.

Top speakers with expertise in different aspects of terrorism, its effects and prevention, will address the meeting at Ashford International Hotel on September 12.

They will include DS Steve McAllister from the National Counter Terrorism Security Office, Iain Calder; director of structural engineering with Scott Wilson; Geoff Hilton, director of Kent and Sussex Security and Chris Bowes, defence sector director with TPS Consult.
