Two Kent motor dealerships have won prestigious industry awards.

Toyota Ashford won the 2020 Toyota Ichiban Award, while Lexus Tunbridge Wells scooped the 2020 Lexus Centre of Excellence award.

Both are part of the Motorline Group.

Every year, just three centres from the Toyota GB network of 188 are selected for the Ichiban Award.

Steve Blake, Toyota and Lexus operations director of Motorline, said: “These awards speak volume for the effort, passion and customer focus delivered by the Toyota Ashford and Lexus Tunbridge Wells teams. Given the challenging trading conditions of the last 12 months, it’s great to receive the awards, which truly reflects the outstanding commitment of the management team and the dedication and focus of all centre staff.”

Thomas Obee, chief executive officer of Motorline, added: “They have delivered incredible results in very challenging conditions and we are extremely proud of winning these high accolades from Toyota GB and Lexus GB.”

Motorline is one the largest brand partners for Toyota and Lexus in the UK with 13 Toyota centres, among them sites in Ashford, Canterbury and Tunbridge Wells.

Its six Lexus sites include those in Canterbury, Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells.
