A spokesperson for Visit Kent explained: “Businesses who sign up to a Good Journey membership can cut carbon, increase income, reduce car-park congestion, and help more people enjoy Kent using great public transport links provided by Southeastern and Stagecoach.
“Plus, businesses with a membership with also receive promotion via Visit Kent’s marketing activity.
“But it’s not only businesses who will benefit from the partnership; visitors to attractions participating in the Good Journey membership will also receive exclusive discounts when travelling by public transport. With the likes of Dover Castle, Wildwood Kent, and Leeds Castle already welcoming car-free visitors with discounts.”
