The Tunbridge Wells Business Improvement District (BID) has a new director to lead the initiative.
Sarah-Jane Adams has been appointed to the role having served two years as part of the leadership team of Maidstone's BID - known as One Maidstone.
She replaces Ross Feeney who stepped down earlier this year.
Previous to that, she had worked in the communications and marketing department of Maidstone Borough Council.
She has now joined Royal Tunbridge Wells Together, which was set up in 2016 as a town centre partnership, with businesses voting for it to become a BID from April 2019.
She explained: "As businesses move into an era of trading post-Covid restrictions, it’s more important than ever that the retailers, services and eateries that we represent as the Business Improvement District, are supported and promoted in order to drive footfall back to our town centre and navigate the hopefully prosperous months ahead.
"The feedback of our businesses, both independents and chains, will directly reflect the projects that I put in place to continue to make Tunbridge Wells town centre a beautiful, unique and creative place to live, work and visit. And importantly, I want to ensure that everyone in the BID understands and values where the budget is going and can see tangible, positive results.”
Chair of Royal Tunbridge Wells Together, Nicky Blanchard, added: “Sarah-Jane’s experience from previous BIDs and her fresh pair of eyes will be invaluable as we look to the future and the long-term positioning and success of the town. We’d like to thank our former colleague Ross Feeney for his hard work and guidance through the pandemic and we wish him success in his new business venture.”
