NEW blood, ideas and skills are needed to take Tenterden and District Chamber of Commerce into the future.

Members are trying to encourage more people to join to help the chamber to progress.

The committee supports and encourages the business community, liases with local authorities and councils on planning and business development in the area and to acts as a pressure group in interests of its members.

The Chamber also organises the Tenterden Late Night Shopping and Christmas lights.

Its annual general meeting will be held at The White Lion Hotel, High Street, Tenterden, at 6pm on Tuesday, March 23.
