TUNBRIDGE Wells rower Chris Andrews will be guest speaker at a business breakfast organised by the Institute of Directors.

At the event, held at Turkey Mill, Maidstone, on May 23, Chris will use his trans-Atlantic adventures to explain the importance of mobile communications and how his experiences can be translated into the corporate world.

Mr Andrews, who works as a global director for risk management for an international law firm, will talk about his epic journey to victory in the recent FISA World Masters Regatta at the breakfast, which takes place between 7.30am and 10am.

Alyson Howard, chairman of the Kent branch of the IoD, said: "This is a fantastic opportunity to listen to an inspirational speaker talk about his impressive feats including competing twice for Great Britain at the World Championships."

For more information and to book tickets, which cost £29 for IoD members, and £23.50 for non-members, contact 01732 849570, visit www.iod.com/kent.
