Legal eagles are celebrating a brace of awards.

Vertex Law, based in Kings Hill, West Malling, has just won two accolades.

It was named a winner at the DealMakers Country Awards 2011 and also ranked Highly Commended by InterContinental Finance Magazine as one of their Top Tier firms for 2011.

The DealMakers awards recognise a select number of leading professional firms across the globe for their specialist areas of work and consistent performance.

The magazine's award honours the ability of firms that have performed to exceptional levels within their region in tough economic times.

"We are delighted with both of these wins, and that we are being recognised for our work," said Vertex Law's James Beatton.

"We have found that the best way of achieving excellent results and high levels of client satisfaction is to combine technical expertise, customer care and progressive working practices and we always strive to do this."

The firm has won several other awards. It was named a DealMakers Global Award Winner 2011 in the Regional M&A Law Firm of the Year category and won Kent Law Firm of the Year 2010 at the Corporate International Magazine Awards in February.

Vertex Law also received accolades in the 2011 edition of Chambers, an authoritative national guide to lawyers and law firms.

The firm is a specialist in commercial law. It sponsors the 2011 Kent Excellence in Business Award (KEiBA) for Science and Technology.
