Wine producer Gusbourne has continued the shake-up of its leadership team by confirming the appointment of its new head winemaker.
The company, based in Appledore, only recently confirmed Jonathan White as its new CEO following the departure of Charlie Holland last year.
Now it has confirmed Mary Bridges, who has been with the company since 2018, as head winemaker.
She had previously worked closely with Charlie Holland who previously held the post and stepped in to replace him when he left in September.
Her role was confirmed this week. She had previously worked abroad with well-renowned wine producers in the south of France and California.
Mary Bridges said: “I fell honoured to be able to showcase the special terroir of our kent and Sussex vineyards in the best possible light and to help play a defining role in the future of Gusbourne and, I hope in turn, the dynamic and booming industry as a whole.”
