A watch sales company has collected the top award at the UK Jewellery Awards.
Watchfinder & Co was named the UK Watch Retailer of the Year at a ceremony in the Hilton Hotel in Park Lane, London.
The Maidstone-based triumphed against a record-sized field at the 21st annual awards.
Watchfinder’s turnover grew by 56% last year, compared with the year before.
Its profit and stock holding doubled to £4.5 million and £3 million respectively.
The directors of Watchfinder are understandably jubilant at the recognition.
Lloyd Amsdon, one of the four directors of the company, said: “We are extremely honoured to be awarded Watch Retailer of the Year 2014.
“This really is the cherry on top of the cake to mark out phenomenal growth and success in the last 12 months of business.”
