Water company sold for £241m

MID Kent Water has been bought by Australian firm Hastings Funds Management for £241m.

The water company supplies 210,000 homes and 24,000 companies in Kent, which amounts to almost 600,000 people.

There has been no news yet on whether any jobs will be lost.
