This spacious four-bedroom property on the outskirts of Canterbury is worth more than £475,000 - but you could snap it up for £20 by entering a special competition.
The contest with FrogHopping.com lets entrants enter a draw for £20 to answer a question for the chance to win the property.
The property competition website allows participants to win a home for the price of an entry ticket while also providing an opportunity for homeowners to sell their property for more than their asking price.
HOW IT WORKS
Sellers list their property on the online platform and can choose their own minimum selling price as well as the duration of their competition listing, and then, for just £20, participants can enter a competition to win a property, by answering a competition question.
If the revenue raised from ticket sales reaches the minimum selling price, the property is given as a prize to the competition winner and, if the revenue raised does not reach that price, the winner receives the cash instead, and the seller retains their property.
Homeowners also get an extra £50 for listing their property when it is approved for a competition listing.
Some 80% of the revenue covers the selling price; Stamp Duty and a £1500 contribution to the winner’s solicitor’s fees. The remaining revenue is used to cover the competition running costs and 20% of this is donated to Shelter UK – a UK-based charity helping to support bad housing and homelessness throughout the country.
THE PROPERTY
The semi detached property in Rough Common, Canterbury, boasts a spacious lounge, and kitchen/diner, as well as four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a utility room, study and garage.
It has a 138ft back garden backing directly on to Blean Woods.
Participants who submit the correct answer to the competition question will be entered into the draw and at the close the winner is drawn using a random selection process, which is broadcast on the Froghopping website and social media.
Launched earlier this year by Jeff Baker, the company has a freephone support number; seven-day email support service and has a team of 40 professional property presenters across the UK, who promote and showcase the property listings.
