Terms of the deal will see the vineyard's sparkling and still wines served across main bars and hospitality areas at the club's home ground as well as advertising at the Spitfire Ground.

It follows on from a deal the winemaker signed earlier this year which saw it become the 'official sparkling wine' of the England and Wales Cricket Board.

That deal sees its products offered to winning teams on the podium at all men and women's internationals and domestic finals.

Chapel Down CEO, Andrew Carter, said: “Our brand home is in Kent and we are delighted to be partnering with Kent Cricket this summer. We are committed to supporting the game at both a national and regional level.”

Kent Cricket’s director of partnerships, Andy Griffiths, added: “Chapel already has a relationship with the ECB, so it’s fantastic to see their commitment to supporting cricket at all levels of the game."
