Winemaker Chapel Down has signed a deal to partner with celebrity chef Tom Kerridge’s Pub in the Park food and music festival.
The Tenterden-based producer will be the event’s ‘official English sparkling wine’.
It will mean a Chapel Down bar at all ten of the Pub in the Park festivals – which includes a date in Tunbridge Wells between July 7-9.
Now in its seventh year, Pub in the Park was created by Tom Kerridge and acts as a celebration of the best of British food and drink.
The Tunbridge Wells event will see music acts such as McFly, EMF and Badly Drawn Boy perform.
Andrew Carter, Chapel Down CEO, said: “We are dedicated to raising the profile of the exceptional quality of English sparkling wine and are looking forward to introducing hundreds of thousands of food lovers to Chapel Down this summer.”
The partnership is the latest in a growing number of associations that Chapel Down has with leading British events. The brand already has deals in place with England Cricket, the Boat Race and at Ascot.
