A housing association is offering a free course to help residents turn their business dreams into reality.
Housing association Optivo is offering budding entrepreneurs in Maidstone the opportunity to attend a free training course from Tuesday April 23 to Friday May 3.
To be held at The Mall in Maidstone, it is open to people of all ages get their business idea off the ground.
This includes how to start a business without any money, how to generate sales from social media and making a website without any technical skills.
The course is being run as part of the Increase VS programme, the first large scale micro-enterprise training programme tailored specifically for social housing residents and communities.
It’s led by Optivo in partnership with nine other housing associations and training providers in England and France.
Places are limited and must be booked in advance.
