POLICE are appealing for information after, it is believed, 101 conifer trees were dragged across a field and loaded onto a vehicle by thieves.

It happened in Warren Lane, Hartlip, near Gillingham, between January 17, at around 8am and on January 19, at about 8am.

The trees, which are around four to five feet tall, are marked with white road paint at the bottom.
