TWO people have been arrested in connection with an aggravated burglary at a house in Northdown Park Road, Margate, on Monday night.

It is alleged that thieves broke into the house at about 9pm, confronted the man and woman living there and stole cash and other items.

Following enquiries, officers arrested a 27-year-old Margate man and a 23-year-old Margate woman on suspicion of burglary at a house in Brockley Road, Margate.

Both are assisting officers with their enquiries.
